Working Units and Numbers

Dr. Frame3D allows one to work using a variety of units, and to set the number of significant digits used for displaying values.

Units

Clicking on the background room in the main pane will bring up the global inspector table, the first entry of which is for units settings:

The various popups can be used to set the desired units for any particular quantity or set of quantities. In addition, the U.S. and SI buttons can be used to switch quickly between common metric and U.S. units.

Number Formatting

To set the number of significant figures used in displaying various type of quantities, choose Number Formatting… from the Options menu to bring up the following dialog:
